This team was amazing!! It started with our regular seasonal service
That let us to be informed of a hott mess from very old equipment that was in our house. This team was very detailed and kept up in the loop throughout the whole demo and installation. Victor provided pictures and found a leak that we had no idea of. He turned our bottom system off for the safety of our house and family. Ray and Art did our walk through and informed us that they needed to basically make our systems safe and secure. They all actually showed us the issues, removal of the issue and the new systems. I ask alot of questions and they all answered without hesitation. They worked fast and efficient. The duct work they did was amazing, I don’t even know how all of that could possible be done lolol.
Our attic looks so much more in place. They replaced two AC units two furnaces and alllll Duct work. This was for sure a huge job that was done the right way! Thank thank you Ray, Art, Ronnie and Tyler!
My heater stopped working right before the Christmas holiday.
I was expecting some guests, but unfortunately without heater I could not host them for the holiday season. I contacted Art, the operation manager, at Sheldon’s and explained the situation.
Art and his team did a great job fixing the heater. Art also personally managed the whole process by overseeing the entire procedure. He made sure the heater was fixed properly. Art’s team followed the COVID19 protocol during the repair. I was really impressed when Art personally replaced some of the light fixtures that were damaged due to the leak from the heater. He did not even charge for those.

Just recently had a new HVAC split systems installed in our home. Our old system was 32 years old and though it still functioned, it was time to consider a replacement. Zack from sales was informative with no pressure tactics. And the install and support through final inspection was great. The guys involved with the install were polite, respectful, friendly and hard working. Any concerns or questions were immediately addressed and our new systems runs prefect. I had my air go out in my apartment and our landlords are slum lords and refused to service the AC unit. I had a repair man come out and go thru the whole system to find out the issue. He had my air back on within the hour. The best customer service ever.
Had to replace complete heating and air conditioning unit on my 1978 mobile home. Sheldon's service was thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. The installation crew were all pleasant and courteous. At the six month check, Dillon was very thorough and made sure I was satisfied with the performance of the units. Early August of this year our air condition unit went out. We received competitive quotes from three different companies before calling Sheldon's Heating and Air Conditioning. We called them as they are the Carrier dealership for Riverside. We had over 30 years of great service out of our old Carrier unit.
Zach was the sales representative who came out to give us a quote and explained the 10 year warranty on parts and labor. He was knowledgeable and thorough in explaining everything as well as being very personable. His quote included a Senior and Veteran's discount. We were also told of the rebates we would be eligible for through our City Utilities.
We were placed on priority service because we had no air conditioning and it was the hottest of days in August.
After waiting only two days, installers Omar and Omar (yes both the same names) arrived and spent the next two days installing a new unit, furnace and ductwork. They were courteous, intent on their job, vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves each day.
Bryan, their manager, came out twice to make sure everything was going smoothly. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Sheldon's Heating and Air Conditioning.
I was concerned that my thermostat wasn't working as it should and also showed it had a low battery. As I felt the furnace was in need of a periodic service, I took advantage of the 2 for 1 special and made an appointment for service. From the office staff and the service rep, there was nothing but courtesy and concern shown. As this was during the coronavirus lockdown, I was assured that the rep would wear a mask and gloves. Brad phoned before his visit to make sure there were no health issues of concern which was to both of our benefits. His work ethics and thoroughness in servicing the furnace, checking air ducts, etc. was exceptional. He thoroughly explained what he did and what the future might hold tor the furnace. I am so pleased that I signed up for a yearly maintenance plan. I highly recommend Sheldon's work ethics and highly recommend Brad for his expertise in his field.

The men who replaced our AC unit were very friendly, polite, greatful for cold water and a pleasure to have in our home! They took the time to build a friendship while still doing a great timely job!! Highly recommended!!
Our air conditioner went out and it was 105 I called Sheldon and they sent and angel named Brad! They price was great, and Brad was so amazingly friendly. All companies she have a Brad working for them👌👌👌
I called for the Heating/AC maintenance coupon special, and was impressed by the AD and online reviews. John came on time, was very courteous, explained why my furnace was leaking, and taught me a lot as a curious "do-it-your-selfer". The metal pan is rusted and that is why it leaks, he explained, and should be replaced, but it is nothing urgent, since it is a very little leak, and being October, I do not plan to run the AC heavily for a few months. John braved the cobwebs of the outdoor condenser, and cleaned out the composted leaves from inside the fan box area, and hosed the coils off. No upselling, I was only charged the Maintenance fee. I asked him to send me a furnace quote, so we can plan on the replacement in the future.
During a major heat wave, my A/C croaked. The daytime temp was 118 and the inside temp of my house rose to 95 degrees. Of course this happened after 5 on a Friday. Fortunately, I located Sheldon's which happened to have Saturday hours. I was told the next avail appt was on the following Tues due to extreme call volume. I was given the option to hopefully have a technician respond on Sunday for an emergency call fee. I gladly opted to pay the emerg fee. Ryan showed up at 8:15 AM on Sunday. By 12:30, the AC was working properly. Ryan was professional and courteous and took the time to explain exactly what happened to the AC and my options. I was impressed and now I'm a customer. I'll be enrolling in their maint program so I don't have to go through this ever again. THANK YOU, SHELDON'S AND RYAN!!!
The positive reviews on yelp for Sheldon's is accurate. I had an issue with my air conditioner and called out Sheldon's to take a look at it. They came out the next day after an evening call. The technician was very personable and great to deal with. My problem turned out to be my Nest thermostat and not a/c unit. The tech did the unit checks and didn't find anything. He waited as we ran the unit until it short cycled. At that point he told me it was the thermostat. He didn't try to upsell me or sell me services that I didn't need. He was honest and the service was worth what I paid.
On the Nest thermostat. Because I don't used the air very much, the nest gets its power from the unit when it runs. If you don't run it much, it doesn't get charged up. Long story short, I researched it on the internet and found that to charge the Nest when the unit is off that an extra wire needs to be hooked up from the unit to the indoor air handler I ended up hooking up a common wire, (that was a spare in the wire bundle) from the inside air handle to the thermostat and that fixed the short cycling issue.
I'd highly recommend Sheldon's.
Sheldon's is the only company I trust for my Ac and Heating service. I have tried other companies in the past and they are all over priced and unreliable. Luckily I ran into Sheldon's when my heater was not working and ABE arrived the same day, he explained step by step what was going on with my system that had been giving me problems every year, he was very understanding of my situation and helped me get an affordable plan for my budget. I had a working heating system the very next day. He also explained the permit process and everything there was to know for my better understanding. Inspector also gave me a thumbs up for how well the unit was installed. My family and I feel safe using our new heater, thank you Sheldon's
I used them a few years ago and thry were very griendly, knowledgeable, didnt try to rip me off and fix priblem quickly...I will be calling them before next summer to do a tuneup on ac unit.....Thanks for your great work...
Todd arrived promptly when called for a quote. He inspected, spoke with me professionally and intelligently. offered several possible quotes and helped me make an informed decision.
He was a breath of fresh air after the other men, from other companies, who had given me quotes/information.
On installation day Neil and Chris arrived right on time, checked my unit, brought in their tools and set right to work. The new equipment arrived soon and was installed and inspected.
Throughout they worked quietly, politely and thoroughly.

Our technician John was extremely helpful and courteous. We called to have a "check up" on our air conditioner to make sure everything was running properly. John performed a general tune up and gave us a very thorough explanation of issues that may need addressing in the future to maintain the unit (without any sales pressure). Fully satisfied with the service and will use again for certain. Jean (customer service) is friendly and helpful as well. Trust Sheldon's to take care of your HVAC needs!

Sheldon"s sent a tech out to service me heater, he was really friendly and helpful, the problem was fixed in not time flat, i will use Sheldon for as long as im in their area, they will also be replacing me system when it time

I bought a complete heating and air conditioning unit from them back in August of 2013. They did a great job on the installation. The system stopped cooling, so I called them out to see what was wrong. Jason shows up ontime and very pleasant to work with. After about an hour of checking the system he finds a pin hole leaking in the coil. The system was still under warranty. I thought ok it will get fixxed. Jasin tells me that the labor is only for one year, and it will be about $800 for labor to install a new coil. Brian calls me and tells me the same thing. I had already done my research and in CA. Contractors have to warranty their work for 4 years, so I tell him that and he says I have been doing this for 20 years I have never heard of that. He called the contractors licensing board and finds out what I said was true. He calls me back and says I guess we will be replacing your coil for free. The guys who came out to replace the coil were very nice. Instead of replacing the the complete unit, they take the new coil out of the box and put it in my old box. They leave with out giving me any paperwork, so I called asking for something showing they replaced the coil only and the system was fixxed. Well aweek and a half later I get the work order and it says they replaced the complete coil. With only 1 one year warranty when the original one still had longer than a year warranty left and labor warranty goes back to original date of 2013.
I understand a small business needs to survive. If they would have not tried to rake me over the coals to start with and covered his cost of labor I would have just paid it and not thought twice.
Got a call from John today 4/29/16 to talk about my review which was originally 2 stars. He wanted to make what had happend right. John is the back bone of this company I would advise everyone to deal with him he is upfront and honest. I have upgraded my review to 4 stars because of him, and his willingness to make a bad experience good.
I had my condenser, heating and ac units replaced and installed, all Carrier. John and his crew did a clean and professional install. They worked with my budget and my schedule. I'm very happy. I recommend them for complete ac and heating service.

Nice service. Just had Sheldon's come out and service my heater. Service man cleaned the heater washed the filter and informed me of some small problems.
Don't know how they are in comparison to other heating and air services??? but I do know they got the job done and the price was alright. I don't have much money so I pretty much had the service man explain some things to me like what all had to be done. I basically had what NEEDED to be done that day since im a bit on a tight budget. But if I had to rate the service, and price, with the honesty I would give it a 5 star.
Sheldon's Heating and Air is a great place to get serviced from! They are fairly priced and don't rip you off! If something can be fixed and you can avoid replacing it they try and fix it first before having you spend a large amount of money which I have known other places to do; Let's not name names now; lol But I do appreciate that a business like Sheldon's would be honest enough to let you know your options and let you chose wether you want to fix it or replace it! and set the price for you to figure out what would be best....although they do reccomend when something needs to be replaced...but the wonderful part is there is no pressure and no gimmicky bullcrap! just honest and straight forward! And it's so wonderful that we can all come together and rate these establishments to protect one another from people who are over priced or just have bad business practice. I have been ripped off in the past from a few different places or have had horrible service and now I always check REPUTATION! so keep up the good work and I hope that more and more people will appreciate your work ethics and friendly service as I have.
I had some service done this morning and this company is a great company to do business with. They are very clear about what the problem is, they are very well trained, and like the others have stated they are well mannered.
Very nice local family ran bushiness. Just had John service my A/C and Heater. he cleaned everything informed me of some melted wires and replace my filter.
Very good service! My husband and I were very pleased with how well they did and the results are amazing! we are no longer cold at night! I have Arthritis and when it gets cold my bones hurt....so I'm glad to have had Sheldon's come out and fix this problem for us! good job!
Great service! I have a daycare I run out of my home and I needed Sheldon's to fix my air ASAP!!!! the last thing I need is complaints of it being too hot in my home! the problem was they were all booked up for the day!!!!!! BUT I somehow managed to get them out here by the end of the day which was no problem for me! They did a great job! they were friendly, and affordable. Thanks
We were not getting the building to cool down although the air appeared to be working. We called for service to Sheldons AC and had a tech to our office within an hour. We were anticipating a major replacement of the unit, but after cleaning and adjusting the fluid levels our office began to cool again! Sheldons saved us some big bucks and explained how to do some preventative maintenance to keep our unit working properly in the future. Now what AC company will give you tips on how not to have to call them in the future??? That was service!

My next door neighbors use Sheldon's heating and air for their home and business....luckily I dropped by to pick up some tile they had ordered for me and that's how I ran into the AC repair man! I asked if he had time to come by my home afterward to check out my AC unit and give me a ball park figure.....Well thank GOD I asked him to come and check it out!!!! I was about to have someone repair it for ALOT more! so I will definitely pass Sheldon's repair around to friends and family! I'm not big on writing reviews BUT if someone well deserves it for great service AND great prices I will make sure that they know how well I appreciate it!
Wow, 113 outside! We had no air working, and we were dying in the hot house. Sheldon's Heating and AC responded so quickly and they were able to diagnose the problem and get us up and running in just a short time. And it didn't cost us an arm and a leg. Nice clean cut tech with friendly service.
